Dive to the dark, shimmering depths of an ancient German folk tale in The Jaws of the Merman, an immersive synthesis of original music, voice, dance, and imagery. Composer Jon Hatch commands a sea of analog and digital synths, weaving sound with the story of small coastal village where swimming is forbidden. When the young women of the village dive in and break the rules, they undergo mysterious changes that shape the community in ways no one was expecting. Part performance, part art installation, and part visual fever dream, The Jaws of the Merman invites audiences to surrender to sound and experience immersive storytelling like they never have before.

 

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Runtime is approximately 30 minutes.
